Kart Plans |
$9.95 - Hard Copy Plan |

2003:
Designed for a 5hp Briggs & Stratton engine, but other engines will
work too. We like the Briggs because of all the aftermarket goodies you
can bolt on
like headers, and trick carburetors. Easy, inexpensive
add-ons with lots of horsepower. The tires and wheels are your choice. Are
you going to use it for off-road or a smoother surface? Maybe you're lucky
enough to have access to a track. The kart will take a wide variety of
sizes with no modifications to the frame. The Kart is strong enough to be
built without the roll cage if you want to use it for the track. NOT
recommended if you are going to be using larger tires, such as an ATV type
or taking it off-road. We have laid out the plans for you with detailed
step-by-step instructions. You will see how easy it is to complete the
project while using our CAD generated drawings as a guide. Comments: This
is not a toy kart like the ones you see in the stores, you can ride this
kart hard, it will take a thrashing. We have never seen one bend! Even
though the kart is very tough, it is very lightweight. One person can
easily load in it in their truck. The kart will fit in the back of your
truck, and you can even close the tailgate. We have tested this kart with
people 6'3 240lbs as well as with 80lb kids - all with the same results,
they don't want to get off! This is a terrific project for bringing your
family closer together. It will bring a sense of pride to the kids because
not only will they be able to drive it, they will also be able to assist
in the production of the cart. The kids will have bragging rights for
their accomplishment and you get to be the hero in return. Your kids will
be able to put their accomplishment to the test and work on their driving
skills at the same time. Just think about the feeling you will get when
you get into a car with one of your children behind the wheel for the
first time. Imagine this drive based on the premise that your child has
never had any previous driving experience, now doesn't that sound like a
good time! Some of you may be thinking that you don't need plans to build
a kart. On the other hand, without a good set of plans to map things out,
you may get more than you bargained for... From past experiences, it
becomes clear that having a well thought out set of plans will save you
many hours - not to mention time and money wasted on materials. |
